WATCH THE VIDEO HERE After weeks of disrespect, Kanye West has finally issued a public apology to his former friend, Jay-Z. Ye made headlines and outraged fans after he alleged that Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Sir, and Rumi Carter, were “retarded” in a shocking social media rant. The rapper then went on to double and triple down, also alleging that Jay was trying to end his life. “I’m sorry JAY-Z,” Ye wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed my family on some real s–t none of these rap n—as had my back.” Ye’s apology did not hold up for long, as shortly after, he hopped back on the platform and tweeted: “Do Beyoncé ever let Jay get p—y I mean like at least a couple times.” During an interview with DJ Akademiks last month, Ye was pressed about his offensive tweets, with Ak calling his rant one of his “worst.” “Or the best. Or the strongest,” Ye responded. He also stated that he would rather “give up [his] life” than forfeit his “freedom to talk.”
