Wearing a MAGA hat.” Back in 2005, Ye made headlines during a live Hurricane Katrina telethon when he went off-script and declared, “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people,” following the government’s slow response to the natural disaster. Four years later, at the 2009 VMAs Kanye crashed Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to announced that Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” video should have won the Video of the Year award. Then in 2018, Ye shocked fans once more by donning MAGA hat and endorsing Donald Trump. The chance of Ye being given the headliner spot is extremely low, especially following his anti-Semitic actions and love of all things Nazi and the Third Reich.
