Kanye West is once again at the center of global controversy as his escalating praise of Adolf Hitler and Nazism sparks a serious response from authorities in Brazil.

According to Brazilian outlet Metrópoles, the São Paulo State Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPSP) has instructed Riot Police to remain on standby throughout his concert on November 29th with direct orders to arrest Ye if he performs anything that could be interpreted as support for Nazism.

This includes his May release titled “Heil Hitler,” a song that openly glorifies the Nazi dictator. Police have also reportedly included two event promoters, Guilherme Cavalcante and Jean Fabrício Ramos, in the arrest warning.

Ye has also yet to secure a venue for the show.

The concert was originally set for the Interlagos racetrack before the booking was canceled in early October. On Monday, São Paulo mayor Ricardo Nunes announced that the city would refuse to offer any public venue for the rapper, citing his history of promoting extremist views. He stated to Metrópoles that the city would take all necessary steps to prevent anyone who promotes Nazism from performing on public property.
