WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Kim Kardashian revealed how much she coughed up for her engagement ring to ex-husband, Kris Humphries. During today’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim spoke about the 18-carat emerald-cut diamond ring. The pair were married and divorced in 2011, and while the marriage was short-lived, the divorce was not finalized until 2013. Their marriage lasted just 72 days. “The second I had to give Kris [Humphries] and it was 18 carats,” she continued. “I didn’t keep it. I was pregnant with North, still married to him and in order to divorce him, he said I had to give him the ring in the divorce. The ring that I bought. He contributed a fifth [of the cost].”
In 2012, Humpries addressed rumors that the marriage was just a pr stunt. “To me, it was real,” he told Access Hollywood at the time. “I would never go through something and do something that wasn’t real or I didn’t believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that.”
