Atlanta’s hip-hop community is in mourning after the tragic death of rising rapper T Hood, and now, the investigation has taken a shocking turn involving his girlfriend, Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Kelsie Frost.
T Hood, born Telvin Hood, was killed on Aug. 8 after suffering gunshot wounds during an alleged dispute outside his home. In the days following his death, Kelsie, who is the daughter of reality star Kirk Frost, publicly shut down online speculation that she was involved, calling the rumors “weird and sick.” She also expressed her devastation over losing “the love of my life.”
But the drama escalated when members of T Hood’s family posted what they claim is a recorded phone call between Kelsie and one of his relatives. In the audio, a woman believed to be Kelsie is heard saying, “I don’t condone that s–t, brother or not.”
The family member replies, “I don’t know, how they would let him out when you told them that your brother shot Tevin,” to which the woman responds, “exactly.”
Now the legality of the recording is being disputed. One of T Hood’s relatives doubled down, asserting that while Georgia is a two-party consent state, they are “good to go” because Kelsie allegedly initiated the call and the recorded party consented.
