Klay Thompson, a Dallas Mavericks guard, erupted on Instagram after former NBA player Jason Williams used a graphic, sexual term to describe Thompson’s rapper girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion.
The moment appeared on the Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ podcast, hosted by Williams, Patrick Beverley, and Barstool’s Rone.
Williams, discussing Thompson’s shockingly low numbers this season (a career-worst 8.5 points per game on 32% shooting), suggested that the Grammy-winning rapper might be affecting Thompson’s focus.
“I’m from West Virginia, man… They say p—y’s powerful,” Williams said, adding that it might explain Thompson’s cold shooting streak. “I ain’t saying that’s what it is… But I don’t know if she’s great for the shot.”
Thompson wasted no time setting the record straight.
“Referring to my GF as a ‘p—y’ is so disgusting and disturbing,” the 35-year-old NBA veteran fired back in the comments. “How would y’all feel if I referred to your wives in such a way?… Do better fellas. Very disappointing.”
The pair went public with their romance in July 2025.
“I have never dated somebody so kind,” she told Page Six at the time.
“This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy. I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”
