Kodak Black is facing renewed backlash after a rambling video delivering a stream of comments about slavery.
The “Zeze” artist says in the below clip: “Black people, bruh, we p—y as f–k, bruh.” Moments later, he added, “I love y’all from Africa, too,” before criticizing Africans he claimed “act like y’all better than muthaf–kas.”
He went on.
“Y’all Africans should have never sold n—as, bruh,” he said, then followed with, “I’m not mad at slavery ’cause white people was slaving people, too.”
The comments quickly drew condemnation for minimizing the brutality and lasting impact of American chattel slavery.

Throughout the clip, Kodak referenced his own state. “Stay up man, I’m lit,” he said with a smile, his speech slurred. He also appeared to sip an unidentified liquid, remarking, “I ain’t gonna lie, though, that s–t taste good as f–k.”
Fans have long voiced worry about the rapper’s struggles with substance use, which he has openly discussed in the past alongside multiple legal issues and stints in rehab.
Near the end of the video, he mentioned feeling unwell, saying, “I had some s–t that was stuck in my throat,” leaving his fans even more concerned.
