KWAM1’s son receives scholarship as mother, Bisola Badmus battles health issues

Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus’s son, Malik, whom she had with Fuji maestro Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as K1 Dr Ultimate or KWAM1,, has received an educational scholarship.

Seun Oloketuyi posted this news on Instagram. He wrote a statement about the singer’s son being granted a scholarship to help his mother, who is battling a serious health condition.

This is a huge development for the actress’ family after she opened up about her health challenge.

“Actress Bisola Badmus’ son, Malik, whom she had with Fuji icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (KWAM 1 ), has been granted a scholarship to further his education as his mother battles with her health.

The actress has been receiving love and support from fans after she made public her ongoing battle with a brain tumour. The love shown towards the actress has now been extended to her son, whom she had with Fuji star KWAM 1.

Kemi Filani recalls that Bisola Badmus, in an interview with colleague Kunle Afod, opened up about battling a brain tumour for three years, and it got to a stage where she couldn’t see or recognise anyone. Bisola, however, said she has been using drugs, and her condition is improving.

In another interview with Biola Bayo, she opened up on her co-parenting struggles with her son’s father, Kwam1. She said she initially didn’t tell him about her sickness, but he got to know and helped her for a while until he stopped responding to her calls.

Reaching out to him, she stated that she wants him to take care of the responsibilities of their son as it hasn’t been easy for her.

Following her cry out, many Nigerians had offered assistance to her, with some offering to sponsor her son through school.

A volunteer promised to send Bisola abroad for her brain surgery. In addition, her son Malik’s school fees were paid through his secondary school, and he also received a scholarship from his University from another person.
