A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has declared that former presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, is the only politician Nigeria needs at this critical moment.

Naijaonpoint reports that Galadima stated this while speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Friday, where he dismissed speculations that Kwankwaso may be considering joining the opposition coalition or returning to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He said the NNPP remains a legally registered political party recognised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), adding that Kwankwaso’s silence on the matter has only made him more appealing to the public.

Galadima further stated, “Our party, the NNPP, is a political party registered under Nigerian laws and recognised by INEC.

“We stand where we are. Of course, we’ve seen several things being said in the media and on social platforms, but that only goes to confirm that Rabiu Kwankwaso is the only politician this country needs and ought to follow. He is such a strategic politician.”

According to him, Kwankwaso’s decision to remain silent amid growing political speculations has amplified his popularity among Nigerians.

He added, “Everybody is saying he’s a capable person. Everybody says he is. He has the capacity to run this country. What else do you need in any politician?

“More than that, every Nigerian needs him. Every political party needs him. Why don’t they support him to become the president of Nigeria so that he can deliver the dividends of democracy?”
