Kwankwaso Recognizes New NNPP National Leadership

Former presidential candidate and national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has thrown his weight behind the new national leadership of the party.

Kwankwaso, in a statement released on Sunday via his 𝕏 account, acknowledged the emergence of Dr Ahmed Ajuji as the new National Chairman of the NNPP and Mr. Dipo Olayoku as the National Secretary.

According to him, Ajuji, and others emerged from the NNPP National Convention held in Abuja on Saturday, which was monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The former Kano State Governor also congratulated other NNPP National Officers who were returned unopposed at the convention.

He urged them to remain disciplined and committed to the ideals of the NNPP.

“Yesterday, I was delighted to attend the National Convention of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Abuja, alongside other party leaders.

“At the convention, which was monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Dr. Ahmed Ajuji was elected National Chairman, Mr. Dipo Olayoku as National Secretary, and other national officers all returned unopposed.

“I heartily congratulate the newly elected national executives and urge the leadership and entire membership to remain disciplined and loyal to the ideals and vision of the NNPP,” Kwankwaso wrote.
