Labour Party DG Reveals How To Defeat APC In 2027

The Director General of the Directorate of Mobilization and Integration for the Labour Party (LP), Marcel Ngogbehei, has called on party members and supporters of the Obidient movement to avoid actions that could cause divisions within their ranks, warning that disunity could jeopardize their chances of unseating the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.

In a New Year message signed by Ngogbehei, the LP chieftain stressed the importance of unity within the party and the movement, describing it as essential for building a formidable opposition capable of challenging the APC.

He urged party faithful to consolidate efforts and remain committed to the party’s mission of fostering a better Nigeria.

Ngogbehei labeled 2025 as the “Year of Unveiling,” emphasizing it as a critical period for the Labour Party to turn its vision into actionable strategies.

Acknowledging the challenges the party faces, he encouraged members to put aside personal differences and focus on the collective goal of rescuing Nigeria from inefficiency.

Ngogbehei urged party stakeholders to deepen collaboration and foster integration across the party and the movement.

He highlighted the importance of unity in building momentum for upcoming milestones, stating, “Only a consolidated and highly integrated opposition can effectively dislodge the APC from power.”

The LP DG concluded with a rallying call for collective action, urging members and supporters to remain steadfast in their mission.

He said, “As we usher in this new year, I am filled with gratitude and hope for the incredible strides we have made together in the quest for a better Nigeria. You, the pillars of the Obidient Movement, have shown remarkable resilience, dedication, and belief in the vision of a united, equitable, and prosperous nation.

“This year, 2025, is the Year of Unveiling —a pivotal time to transform hope into action and dreams into reality. It is a time to consolidate our efforts, strengthen our ranks, and intensify our collective push toward the Nigeria we all desire.

“However, I must address a crucial matter: Those who sow seeds of discord within the Obidient movement must pause and have a rethink. Divisions weaken our resolve, dilute our strength, and play into the hands of those who have no interest in the people’s welfare.

“Only a consolidated, highly integrated, and united opposition can dislodge the APC from power in 2027.

“We need every voice, every heart, and every thumbprint to achieve this. To the faithful across all states and beyond, I urge you all to keep the fire of hope burning, to remain steadfast in our shared purpose, and to inspire others with the same passion and vision.
