A Nigerian lady has cried out on social media after allegedly being assaulted and thrown out by her boss for walking away from him during a confrontation.

The incident was shared on TikTok by user @_sisilayo, who identified herself as Funmilayo, a staff member at RoyalRex Hotel and Spa.

In the video, Funmilayo recounted that she had returned to the office after closing hours to assist a receptionist when her boss, Architect Bimbo Fajemirokun, arrived and couldn’t access the building with his key.

She said he began yelling at her, prompting her to walk away.

According to her, the boss dragged her into his office, slapped and beat her, then threw her out of the building.

“My name is Funmilayo. I work at RoyalRex Hotel and Spa. Tonight, my boss, Architect Bimbo Fajemirokun, beat me up because I walked out,” she said in the video.

She further explained that although she was supposed to close by 6:00 p.m., she had returned to help the receptionist with some tasks.

She said the altercation started simply because she didn’t activate the door for her boss.

“He pulled me by my clothes, slapped me, beat me up, and threw me out of the building,” she added.

She also showed the visible injuries she sustained during the incident. As the video circulated online, it sparked outrage, with many users flooding the comment section to express their concerns and call for justice.

Peppy: “Why did you accept to cover up for someone at work when it’s not ur specialty? So if it was a guest would you have walked out on him? Most hotels owners have zero tolerance when it comes to their employees. Sorry anyways.”
