The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has ordered the State Cr1minal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, to investigate multiple se6ual misc0nduct allegations against the Senior Pastor of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, Chris Okafor.
The directive follows viral allegations on social media, particularly claims made by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who accused the cleric of maintaining a se6ual relationship with her over several years and making repeated marriage promises before marrying another woman in December 2025.
Ogala further alleged that the pastor shared her expl1cit photos and videos, contributed to the bre4kdown of her previous marriage, and caused her emotional and fin4ncial d1stress. She also claimed he offered her $10,000 to retract her statements and accu6e a r1val pastor of orchestrating the sc4ndal.
As the controversy escalated, other women, including Okafor’s former wife, Bessy Okafor, came forward with allegations ranging from inf1delity and man1pulation to physical ass4ult.
Police spokesperson Abimbola Adebisi confirmed that although no formal petition has been filed, the Commissioner of Police ordered the SCID to invite the pastor for questioning and summon the alleged v1ctims and witnesses to aid the investigation.
The police noted that an arrest could not be made without an official complaint but assured that all allegations would be thoroughly examined.
The investigation is ongoing.
