The 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, has disclosed that he is more qualified than President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, and other aspirants to run for the 2027 gubernatorial race.

Naijaonpoint reports that Jandor made this known in response to a question on whether he stands a chance against the likes of Seyi, former Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, Tokunbo Abiru, and others, while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday.

Jandor, however, stated that, except for Ambode, Seyi and others are not as experienced as he is because they have never been on the ballot before.

He said, “Okay, so all the names that you have mentioned, just like I said earlier, they are all qualified to be governor of Lagos. This includes Seyi himself, every one of them.

“And you’re not going to take anything away from no one. But from all of them that you have mentioned, aside from the former governor that you mentioned, none of them have actually been on the ballot as governorship candidates aside from myself.

“So I come with that experience. I come with the experience of somebody who has single-handedly gone through that process without any backing.”
