The Vice Chairman of Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lagos State, Princess Oluremi Nutayi Ajose, has died two months after assuming office.

Naijaonpoint reports that Ajose, who was sworn in on July 27, 2025, alongside the LCDA Chairman, Hon. Rauf Ibrahim Kayode Yemaren, and five councilors, were inaugurated by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

According to Daily Post, the council vice chairman died on Saturday, sending shockwaves through the local political and traditional communities.

Confirming the demise, family sources disclosed that Ajose’s remains have been deposited in a morgue.

Princess Ajose was the daughter of His Royal Majesty, Oba Oyekan Possi Ajose, the Alapa of Apa Egun-Awori Kingdom, further deepening the grief within the royal household and across the community.

Meanwhile, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said nothing stops the son of his principal, Seyi Tinubu, from contesting for any political office in Nigeria, including the governorship position of Lagos State.

Naijaonpoint reports that Bwala, in an interview with media personality, Nedu, on The Clarity Zone podcast, dismissed criticisms that Seyi’s political involvement is linked only to his father’s influence.

He described Seyi as humble and stressed that he has built a reputation as a bridge-builder among the youth.
