Lala Baptiste has broken her silence after rumors circulated online that she slept with rapper DDG while he was still in a relationship with Halle Bailey.
“These accusations in general is stemming from a group trip that our whole friend group went on. Right? Our whole friend group went on this trip. And everyone on this trip can confirm there was nothing weird going on. I wasn’t even staying near them. It was for someone’s birthday. Let’s start there,” she told her followers on livestream.
In one of the texts DDG included in his petition for a temporary restraining order, Halle accuses him of sleeping with “Lala” in Mexico.
According to Lala, everything between her and DDG was just business, but she said that Halle had “to jump to conclusions at that point” because she would have acted the same way had she thought that her partner was on a trip with another woman.

She said that she later had a conversation with Halle but would not go into details about what exactly was discussed, but maintains that her relationship with DDG is “strictly platonic.”
