Media Take Out learned that authorities in Las Vegas may soon begin looking into the accusations that a 22 year old White girl made against Shannon Sharpe. The woman, who filed the lawsuit with the help of controversial lawyer Tony Buzbee, claims that on three separate occasions Shannon Sharpe an**ly r*ped her, while in Las Vegas. The woman is looking for $50 million in damages from Shannon. The allegations against the tv talk show host are so serious that, Media Take Out learned, authorities in Las Vegas may soon be looking into the matter. We spoke with a person in the know who told us that Las Vegas police have been flooded with calls from the public – asking them to investigate the allegations. Media Take Out reached out to representatives from the Las Vegas police, but have not received a response by the time of publication. Here’s what we know. The woman claims that the first alleged assault took place in October 2004 and the last one in January of 2025, meaning that the statute of limitations hasn’t run. So authorities in Las Vegas could investigate the claims – either for a potential criminal assault, or for a potential extortion attempt. And a full on investigation by law enforcement could be GOOD or BAD for Shannon. On one hand, law enforcement would have the legal authority to interview the alleged victim, and determine the credibility of her story. After investigating the alleged victim’s claims fully, they could exonerate Shannon – and he could go back to his life. In fact, if Shannon’s version of the facts are true, the alleged victim may be subject to criminal prosecution. But there’s another possibility – one that is NOT VERY FAVORABLE to the 250 pound former NFL player. If law enforcement were to determine that the victim’s claims WERE credible, they could file criminal charges based on the result of their investigation. And those charges would continue, even if Shannon were to eventually settle the lawsuit with Tony Buzbee. This is a fluid situation, and Media Take Out is on top of it.
