Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of Late actor Junior Pope, has shared a funny note he wrote to her to borrow money while he was still asking.
The mother of three boys said she was going through old pictures and came across it, and it put a very wide smile on her face. She said she and Pope got to sign agreements, stating dates and times, and also specifying the monies that would be returned. She added that they even took pictures of the papers in case the paper gets missing, deliberately torn or hidden by the borrower.
Jennifer noted that if one lends money to one’s spouse, siblings, or family member, there’s a 90% chance the money is gone.

A few weeks ago, Jennifer shared a video of the late actor and his father. She said that some days they feel fine, and the next minute, they feel totally off, and they are still very much in denial. Sending a message to God, she told him to heal their hearts and keep them safe.

On April 10th, 2025, Jennifer celebrated his one-year remembrance. She noted that it’s been a year of standing in the face of unimaginable loss, and not a day has gone by without a thought of him. She said her late husband had no idea how tough it had been trying to stay strong for each other as the world around them fell apart.
In May, Jennifer celebrated late Junior Pope’s 45th posthumous birthday. Sharing a clip of the late actor and his family, she expressed sadness at not being able to celebrate him anymore with her different surprises and now, celebrating him with tears and memories.
In July, Jennifer had celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary with Pope. She said she was having mixed feelings, and was pained at his physical absence but joyed that he indeed lives on. Jennifer said that sometimes, she gets so overwhelmed that she tells anyone besides her that her late husband would come back.
