Ex-Super Eagles and Real Sociedad midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju, has weighed in on the ongoing transfer saga of Napoli forward, Victor James Osimhen, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old has been linked with an exit from the Serie A Champions last season, but only a loan move to Galatasaray has materialised since then.
Osimhen scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in his loan spell in Turkey, where he won the Turkish Super Lig and League cup titles.

The former LOSC Lille attacker has several offers in Europe after declining two bumper deals from Saudi Pro League side, Al-Hilal.
While many have urged Osimhen to make a quick decision about his future, Adepoju advised the 2023 CAF Player of the Year to properly weigh his options before committing.
“I don’t feel like the concerns we all express are bad, but it comes off as a bit unnecessary at times. Victor Osimhen is a star, and his quality is there for all to see.
“I doubt that there’s a club in the world where he won’t fit in or deliver; he has shown that consistently.’
“Personally, I’d say let’s leave him to his choice, and when the right offer for him comes, only he will decide that. We only have to support him as our national team hero,” the former Real Madrid midfielder told Brila.
Osimhen’s decision to decline Saudi’s offer reflects his hunger to play amongst the elites in Europe, which Galatasaray might not be a part of as they’re not strong enough to compete in the UEFA Champions League.
