LEGO tackled The Legend of Zelda franchise for the first time with the release of the Great Deku Tree, and it’s now apparent that at least one more set is on the way. Unlike LEGO’s extensive Mario series, Zelda has been focused on adult collectors so far, with the Great Deku Tree featuring 2500 pieces and retailing for $299. The set features minifigures based on both Breath of the Wild and Ocarina of Time, and the latter Link has made his way into the teaser for what’s to come.
A new video on the official LEGO Instagram account shows a brief clip of Ocarina of Time Link with Navi floating by his side. As a shadow slowly falls over him, Link looks up, sword and shield at the ready. “Build The Legend” and “Coming in 2026” appear at the end of the teaser, along with a link to the Zelda section on LEGO’s website.

The Big Bad Is On His Way
The teaser doesn’t offer any hard details about the upcoming Zelda set (or sets), but there are still some interesting details to work with here. Ganondorf’s inclusion is clearly suggested, both by the looming shadow and by the Instagram caption, which reads “Do you realize who you’re dealing with?“ While this might sound like a generic phrase, it’s a direct quote from Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time.
What form the set will take remains to be seen, but it’s also possible to do a little guesswork there. LEGO previously tackled Mario’s nemesis with a gigantic, $270 model of Bowser, so a large Ganondorf model could also be in the cards.
On the other hand, a model of Hyrule Castle featuring a showdown between Link and Ganondorf could also be a hit with fans. Either way, it’s likely to be another large, expensive release, following the approach that LEGO has taken for many licenses in recent years.

More LEGO Zelda is definitely a good thing, so I’m excited to see what the Ocarina of Time set turns out to be. I’d still like to see some smaller sets — as a kid, I would have been incredibly frustrated if the only Zelda option cost $300 — but the next set will probably sell like hotcakes either way.
LEGO will ultimately reveal the set in full at some point before its 2026 release, so it’s worth keeping an eye on social media channels if you’re interested. Whether LEGO will ever tackle games like A Link to the Past or The Wind Waker remains to be seen, but The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time fans are continuing to eat well.
