She disclosed that she had many sleepless nights wondering how to keep going, but through it all, the love, encouragement, and support from fans kept her going. Following his death, videos made rounds of him being bullied by his former boss and his members. In September, Omowumi marked the one-year remembrance of her husband. In an emotional tribute, she described his death as an unbearable pain, as she expressed how much she missed him and how he left her and their son, Liam, in this cold world. She added that since his death, he had been so hard and she doesn’t know how to survive, but it also shaped her life. When Omowunmi turned a year older in April, she made a special request to Nigerians, urging them to celebrate her husband on her birthday, rather than her. She noted how this was the first time in many years, she would be celebrating her birthday without him.
