Lil Durk has been hit with several fresh allegations in the run-up to his January trial, the latest being that he ordered a hit on O-Block members for failing to avenge King Von’s death.
In his upcoming trial, prosecutors say that they have witnesses who will testify that Durk gave them direct orders.
Prosecutors have already accused Durk of witness tampering and even accuse him of having an Apple watch, which he allegedly tried to destroy, while in jail.
Federal prosecutors allege that Durk directed members of his Only The Family (OTF) crew to fly from Chicago to Los Angeles in August 2022 to ambush Quando Rondo. Authorities say he used encrypted messages and promises of money or record deals as an incentive. They allegedly used OTF credit cards to pay for the weapons, flights, hotels and rental vehicles used in the hit.
The shooting occurred in broad daylight at a Los Angeles gas station. While their target, Quando Rondo, was left unharmed, his cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, was killed.
Durk’s attorney, Drew Findling, believes the prosecution does not have evidence to back up their claims.
“While the Indictment alleges that the co-conspirators carried out various acts ‘at the direction of’ Mr. Banks—flying to Los Angeles; tracking, stalking, and attempting to kill [Quando Rondo] by gunfire; and procuring the firearms and equipment used to do so—it fails to give any specifics. When, where, how, and to whom did Mr. Banks give these alleged directions? To ensure the basic fairness of this trial, the defense is entitled to know,” Findling said per AllHipHop.
