An attorney for actor Lil Meech has reportedly sent a retraction demand to a podcast following Celina Powell’s recent interview.
According to attorney Elysa Galloway, Lil Meech has “Never been involved in a romantic or intimate relationship with Lil Meech.”
“The representations made on your podcast are entirely false, defamatory and misleading. Publishing these statements without verification or disclaimer demonstrates gross negligence and amounts to irresponsible journalism,” the letter continues.
Galloway is demanding that a public statement declaring that Lil Meech was not romantically engaged with Celina Powell at any time, and that they have been put on notice.
Last month, shared details of their alleged relationship.
Powell then posted a clip of a phone call between her and Lil Meech.
“I’m begging you, please delete this stuff. This is my reputation, bro,” Meech is heard saying. “I apologize for saying what I said to you. Celine, I said that to get ... deleted, Celine. That’s not how I tried to make you seem. I apologize for that.”
