WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Kimani, the ex-girlfriend of incarcerated rapper Lil Reese, sat down for an interview where she detailed the time he allegedly pulled a gun on her while she was carrying his baby. Kimani says she was forced to pull a knife out on him when the rapper started wrestling her to try and take her phone and became physical after getting caught “doing something.” Kimani says she was hurt by the incident, which took place two or three years ago, because he pulled a weapon out on her like she was “one of his opps.”
Reese, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, was sentenced to five years for the assault. he is being housed at the state’s Garza West facility and will not be eligible for parole until August 8, 2026. The Chicago drill rapper’s projected release date is listed as February 6, 2029. Court documents show that the assault took place on March 2022. He has not made any public statements or posted on his social media since his imprisonment.
