Lil Wayne revealed that he had spoken to Kendrick Lamar about the Super Bowl controversy and that everything was good between them.

Weezy was upset when the NFL announced that Kendrick Lamar had been chosen to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in Louisiana next year.

“I’ve spoken to him and I wished him all the best and told him he better kill it. He gotta kill it,” the rapper told Skip Bayless.

K.Dot mentioned Weezy on his GNX album and some thought the bars were dissing him.

After listening to “wacced out murals,” Wayne revealed that he did not take the lines as a diss towards him.

“That was my first time hearing it. I think he’s a fan like I’m a fan of his music. I think he meant he saw what everyone else saw, he saw how much it meant to me,” he said before adding, “He didn’t let me down.”
