Machine Gun Kelly Says He Turned Down ‘Sinners’ Audition Over N-Word

Machine Gun Kelly is being praised online after he claimed that he turned down an audition for a potential role in Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’ movie because the script required him to use the n-word.

“‘Sinners,’ I was supposed to be in that,” he said on The Pat McAfee Show. “The vampire, they had me set up to do the audition — it’s the one that’s in the house, so he’s the second vampire, the one that the guy comes and eats the family. In the audition, he has to say the ‘n-word’ and I wouldn’t do it.”

He continued, “I have a lot of aspirations to be in movies, it just hasn’t panned out that way,” adding, “I’m on universal timing. It’ll align. The angels will put something in the works. There’s been plenty of movies that come out that I was like, ah, I was supposed to be in that, or I did auditions for that,” he said.

MGK recently welcomed a child with actress Megan Fox, but he also has a 16-year-old daughter named Casie, who has biracial.

The rapper caught heat a while back after he was captured on camera, hurling a racial slur at a Black journalist.

MGK called the journalist, who was seemingly offended by his statements about Black women giving the “best head,” a “dirty n—er b—h.”
