Nigerian legendary singer 2baba has tendered an apology to the public following the massive headlines over his marriage to Edo lawmaker, Natasha.

The singer, while performing at a recent event over the weekend, appealed to Nigerians to forgive him and his family. He told them not to be angry.

“Abeg make una no vex again. Make una forgive me and my family”.

Last month, social media was agog after videos released online shown the moment, 2baba was arrested on handcuffs after an altercation with Natasha in the UK.

Refreshing your memory, in October, reports made rounds that the singer had gotten into an altercation with his then-pregnant wife and had been arrested, which 2baba had denied it.

Following the video, a former staff member of 2Baba, identified as Kaka, granted an interview to Freeze, alleging that Natasha frequently hindered the singer’s growth and exerted psychological control over him.

Surprisingly, 2baba had joined the Live broadcast to address the situation when he and Natasha got into a heated argument. The singer quickly exited the live stream, fueling more tension between the couple.

His brother, Hyacinth Idibia, had written to him, telling him to allow them to save him as they noted how he had been suffering for too long.

His younger brother, Charles Idibia, claimed that he had been captured from inside the frying pan and thrown into an industrial furnace as he accused his girlfriend, Natasha, of controlling and manipulating him. He urged his brother to wake up for the sake of his kids.

On July 25th 2025, the music icon had traditionally wedded Natasha, in a low-key ceremony attended by close family members, including the singer’s parents.

The couple have since welcomed their first child.
