WATCH THE VIDEO HERE A man accused of the murder of Atlanta rapper Trouble pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on Friday right as his trial was about to begin. The man, identified as Jamichael Jones, was facing charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, criminal damage to property and family battery. The incident took place on the morning of June 5, 2022, in Rockdale County. Officers responded to the apartments after a woman called 911, claiming she heard a woman screaming. Jones reportedly broke up with the woman the week prior and snuck back into the apartment, where he found Trouble asleep. He attacked his ex, and Trouble tried to stop the violent attack but was fatally shot by Jones in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Jones entered a negotiated plea to the charge of felony murder and received a 20-year prison sentence. All of the other charges against him were dropped.
