A man has cried out over the alleged refusal of Baptist Hospital, Ejigbo, Osun State, to treat victims of a road accident without the presence of their relatives.
The concerned man voiced his frustration after he witnessed what he described as an indifferent attitude by the hospital staff towards injured persons brought in for emergency care.
He claimed that despite the critical condition of the victims, hospital staff demanded that their relatives must be present before any treatment could begin.
According to him, this delay in medical attention could put the lives of the victims at greater risk, especially in situations where immediate care is crucial.
The incident has sparked concern among residents, who fear that such policies could lead to preventable loss of lives during emergencies.
