Tottenham Hotspur delivered a dominant performance to pile more pressure on Erik ten Hag, securing a 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, Soccernet.football reports.

Ange Postecoglou’s side took control from the outset, with an early goal from Brennan Johnson setting the tone for a comprehensive victory that highlighted the Red Devils’ growing struggles.

Micky van de Ven was instrumental in the opening goal, surging through the United defence before delivering a perfect cross that allowed Johnson to finish clinically.

United, already looking shaky, were dealt a major blow in the first half when captain Bruno Fernandes was sent off for a reckless tackle on James Maddison.

This left the home side with ten men and all but sealed their fate.

Despite efforts to rally, including near-misses from Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez, the Red Devils couldn’t find a way back into the match.

Tottenham capitalised again early in the second half when Dejan Kulusevski doubled the lead, converting a pass from Johnson.

The visiting side remained dominant throughout, and despite some wasteful finishing, Dominic Solanke added a third late on to end any faint hopes of a United comeback.

As boos echoed through Old Trafford, many fans headed for the exits long before the final whistle.

For Erik ten Hag, this defeat will raise further questions about his future as Manchester United’s head coach.
