Nigerian singer Abolore Akande, also known as 9ice, has joined in celebrating Innocent Idibia, popularly called 2Baba, as he clocked 50.

Naijaonpoint reports that the Gongo Aso crooner took to Instagram on Thursday to felicitate with the African Queen hitmaker on his new age.

While congratulating him, 9ice also issued a caution, stating that not everyone is pleased with 2Baba’s journey and achievements in the music industry.

He said that some people secretly wish for the veteran singer to stumble in his career, but he reassured him that he would always overcome challenges.

9ice said that envy and jealousy naturally come with greatness but affirmed that 2Baba’s name and talent will continue to endure.

He wrote: “2Face, happy birthday to you. I wish you long life and prosperity. I know so many wish you fall but you shall never fall. I love you. You shall prosper. You are not going to fall. It’s just a phase of life. You will always overcome it. I love you. God bless you. Happy birthday to you.”

In other news, Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, has showered love on her husband cum legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba.

Naijaonpoint reports that 2Baba turned 50 years on September 18, 2025.

In a post on her Instagram page, Natasha jokingly referenced how 2Baba is 20 years older than her and still looks younger than her.
