Marcus Jordan is celebrating six months of sobriety following his shocking arrest earlier this year.

On Instagram, the son of legendary basketball player Michael Jordan shared that he was “6 Months Sober & Still The Life of The Party#180Days,” as his fans weighed in and congratulated him on this latest milestone.

Last month, Jordan managed to avoid severe punishment after reaching a deal with prosecutors in his Florida DUI case.

The 33-year-old agreed to complete 50 hours of community service, pay a monthly supervision fee, and install an ignition interlock device in his vehicle to monitor his driving. He’s also required to donate $1,000 to a court-approved charity, submit to random drug testing, and write a 250-word apology letter to the arresting officer.

The charges stem from a March incident in Maitland, Florida, where police found Jordan’s car stuck on railroad tracks. Officers reported he appeared impaired, and body camera video reportedly captured him saying, “I’m Marcus Jordan! Michael Jordan’s son!”

Jordan was initially charged with DUI, resisting an officer, and possession of cocaine. A subsequent lab test revealed the substance was actually ketamine, not cocaine.

As part of the agreement, Jordan waived his right to a speedy trial. If he fails to meet any of the conditions, prosecutors can reinstate the charges and move forward with prosecution.
