The Ultimate Universe: Two Years In #1 one-shot arrives on December 3, 2025, spotlighting the return of the Guardians of the Galaxy, first introduced in Ultimates #8. Alongside the Guardians’ comeback, fans can look forward to the exciting debut of the Ultimate Universe’s version of Daredevil, further expanding this bold and reimagined Marvel continuity.
Like all Ultimate titles releasing in December, this one-shot builds toward the Ultimate Endgame crisis event, which will bring the Ultimate Universe to an end. According to the synopsis, Two Years In will introduce many new characters, including Daredevil, who have been recruited by the Guardians in preparation for the Maker’s return.
This can’t-miss one-shot features seven talented creators: Alex Paknadel, Deniz Camp, Javier Pulido, Phil Noto, Lee Ferguson, Francesco Manna, and Pat Boutin. While details about this version remain limited, Marvel has shared character design art and a striking variant cover by Giuseppe Camuncoli, showcasing the hero’s bold new look and giving fans their first glimpse of this fresh take on the Man Without Fear.
Comic writer Deniz Camp also commented on Daredevil’s debut, stating, “Javier Pulido did such a beautiful job with the character and the story. [Alex Paknadel] and I are both over the moon with it. I hope readers will be, too!” Clearly, this is a Daredevil reboot fans won’t want to miss.
