Amid the loss of her beauty store, blogger, Linda Ikeji’s sister, Laura Ikeji has expressed gratitude to her Maker.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of three shared a video of her toddler as she revealed that while she was battling with her last born at night, her beauty store was burning. Despite this, she is grateful to God as she notes how material things can be replaced.

“While I was battling with this one at night, my beauty store was burning. I thank u God. Material things can be replaced”.

Last week, actress Uche Ogbodo lost two of her stores; one to flood and another to the Government’s demolition. Sharing the sad news on her Instagram page, she stated that watching old videos of her store made her heart bleed as she was in pain for months. The mother of three noted how she lost it all: her hard work, blood, tears, and years of prayers to build her brand in a twinkle of an eye, and how her husband has been trying to keep her strong despite also losing his store.

Last year, Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde lamented the damage done to her radio station as she answered her fans’ curiosity about why the station had been off-air. According to her, she had alerted the owners of the building, but they had failed to make any move until things worsened, which led to all the studio equipment being left severely damaged. Luckily, her husband and her Maker came through for us.
