“May this special day be etched in your memory forever” – Iyabo Ojo prays for Dayo Amusa as she storms her son’s naming ceremony with Tope Osoba (Video)

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo was among the few Nollywood stars who attended Dayo Amusa’s son’s naming ceremony.

Kemi Filani reported a week back that the movie star had welcomed her first child, a baby boy, which she christened Oluwafirewamiri, which could be shortened as Olufire.

On Monday, the actress held a naming ceremony for her son, which had in attendance a few of her colleagues.

Iyabo had shared a video of her and recovery actress, Tope Osoba at the ceremony. In the clip, the movie stars were captured meeting the newborn. In her caption, Iyabo stated that it was an absolute delight celebrating with her as she wished Dayo the best as she embarks on her new journey.

Congratulating her on her bundle of joy, Iyabo rained prayers on her.

“It was an absolute delight celebrating with you on the special day of our handsome Prince @dayoamusa’s naming ceremony. I wish you all the best as you embark on this incredible journey of motherhood. May the joy, love, and blessings that come with it never cease to fill your life.

It isn’t surprising to see Iyabo at Dayo Amusa’s son’s naming ceremony as the actress is known to always go above and beyond for her colleagues.

When the news of Tope Osoba’s battle with breast cancer made rounds, Iyabo showed support for her and visited her at the hospital where she was recovering.

In October of 2023, Kiitan Bukola revealed how Iyabo offered her accommodation following the demolition of her house in Lekki by the Lagos State government.

Also in 2023, Lola Alao recounted how Iyabo visited her in Canada and helped advertise one of her clothes, which led to daily orders from people across the globe. Appreciating her, Lola praised Iyabo for boosting her sales as she bragged about her, calling her a blessed child.

Funke Akindele, in an interview, recounted how Iyabo Ojo and Sikiratu Sindodo helped her up the ladder and fought for her during her early career days. According to her, she was being stereotyped because of her physical appearance which many considered ‘ugly’. This led to her breaking down on one of her movie sets and Iyabo and Sikiratu stood up for her.

Bimbo Success disclosed how Iyabo Ojo reached out to her after learning of her twins’ struggles with a severe cough. Bimbo, penning a gratifying note to Iyabo, said the actress was a bit saddened that she wasn’t informed of the situation.
