Megan Thee Stallion’s attorneys are accusing Tory Lanez of making “petty, misogynistic jabs” during a recent deposition and are now asking a Florida federal judge to sanction the rapper for violating a court order.

The Canadian rapper was required to explain why he shouldn’t be held in contempt, but according to Megan’s legal team, his July deposition was uncooperative. In court filings, they described it as “disruptive and inflammatory,” alleging he mocked the opposing counsel’s appearance and hair color.

“This was not about answering questions,” they wrote, “but undermining the process with targeted disrespect.” The filing also claims Lanez pretended not to understand basic words like “meet,” “discuss,” and “approve,” stalling the proceedings and triggering calls for court oversight.

Lanez’s team, however, is fighting back and has requested that Megan cover deposition costs and proposed appointing a special master at Lanez’s own expense to oversee future sessions.

If denied, Megan’s lawyers want a hearing scheduled ASAP.

The deposition is linked to Megan’s defamation lawsuit against YouTuber Milagro Gramz, who she says spread misinformation about the case. Gramz was recently ordered to pay $5,000 in legal fees after failing to provide vital evidence, including metadata and private messages.
