A judge has thrown out Megan Thee Stallion’s defamation claims against blogger Milagro Gramz.

The decision came after it was revealed that the rapper’s attorneys did not inform her of the lawsuit and that she is also a member of the media.

Despite the decision, the blogger will still have to cough up $59,000 for the counts of intentional infliction of emotional distress and promotion of an altered sexual depiction.

Following the initial verdict, Meg took to social media to seemingly shoot down Gramz’s claims that the defamation had been tossed.

“Thank you… Here they go lying again AS USUAL. If you want REAL MEDIA/NEWS know how to be Patient and know how to READ,” she wrote.

Gramz later issued a statement via her legal team.

“While many outlets are reporting that Ms. Cooper was found liable for Defamation, the Final Judgment of the Court is that Ms. Cooper is not liable for Defamation. Ms. Cooper ultimately prevailed on Ms. Pete’s [Megan Thee Stallion] leading accusation, Defamation, and the jury awarded a nominal amount of damages compared to millions of dollars Ms. Pete demanded from Ms. Cooper throughout the course of the litigation.”
