The Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, Nancy Nnadi, popularly known as Coach Nancy, has confirmed that peace talks are ongoing to resolve the lingering royalty dispute between popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo and her former record label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (also known as EeZee Tee).
Nnadi also retracted her earlier allegations against the musician.
Naijaonpoint reports that Nnadi made the disclosure in a statement posted on her Instagram page, where she expressed hope that the reconciliation process, facilitated by respected religious leaders, would yield positive results.
“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and the love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo. I also pray that Almighty God perfects the ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz,” she wrote.
Naijaonpoint reports that Nnadi’s statement comes amid a high-profile legal dispute between Chinwo and her former record label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (aka EeZee Tee), over the alleged diversion of $345,000 in music royalties.
Flashback: Mercy Chinwo Drags Eezee Tee To Court
It could be recalled that Chinwo, in January 2025, dragged EeZee Tee to court, accusing him of diverting her music earnings two years after their professional relationship ended.
The celebrated musician left the EeZee Conceptz in 2023, citing financial disagreements.
While the case was still in court, Nnadi stirred fresh controversy by accusing Chinwo of financial misconduct on social media, further escalating tensions between both parties.
Subsequently, Chinwo filed a defamation suit against Nnadi, demanding a public apology and the removal of the defamatory content from all her platforms.
However, Nnadi’s recent publication appears to be part of an ongoing truce brokered by top Christian leaders described as the “Fathers of Faith”, who have stepped in to mediate between the two parties in the interest of peace and unity in the gospel music community.
