Mide Martins honors mother on her 23rd remembrance with her film crew (Video)

Nollywood actress Mide Martins held the 23rd remembrance of her mother with her film crew.

Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that the Yoruba actress penned a note to her late mother on her 23rd remembrance. She noted how it was just like yesterday when her mother died, and now, it has been 23 years. The mother of two described her late mother as a rare gem and a real angel in human skin. She expressed how much she misses her and revealed that she still sheds tears when she thinks about her late mother.

To celebrate her mother’s remembrance, Mide Martins gave food to her film crew. The movie staralso shared a video of herself on a movie set, holding a prayer with her crew members, on her Instagram page.

In her caption, the wife of Afeez Owo expressed gratitude to her Maker as she prayed for her mother to continue resting in peace.

My Mama’s remembrance celebration with my people at work!! Continue to rest in perfect peace, my dear mama.
We all miss you greatly”.

Last year, to mark the 22-year remembrance of Mide’s mother, Afeez Owo shared a video of the veteran on a movie set as he expressed gratitude to his Maker, and prayed for the deceased to keep resting.

For her mother’s 21st remembrance, Martins shared a video of the prayer she held for her mother which had in attendance her colleagues and important personalities like MC Oluomo, Adebayo Tijani, Ijebu, and others. Paying tribute to her mother, Mide prayed for her beautiful soul to keep resting in peace, as she affirmed that her mother would forever remain alive in her heart.

In 2021, a veteran U.S.-based actress, Ashabi Olorisha called Mide out for abandoning her late mum’s graveyard and the entire family.

Defending herself in an interview with City People, Mide said she can’t kill herself as she knows what she is doing and doesn’t need to explain herself to the public.

Following the call-out, Mide, alongside some family members, paid a visit to her late mother’s grave for the first time. This was disclosed by controversial Instagram blogger Gistlovers in a video shared online, as she mocked the actress for only remembering her mum after being mercilessly dragged online.
