Mixta Real Estate, Two Others Lift NASD Bourse by 0.70%

Three stocks lifted the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange by 0.70 per cent on Monday, October 6, with 11 Plc adding N22.33 to its value to close at N245.63 per share compared with the preceding session’s N223.30 per share.

Further, Mixta Real Estate Plc expanded its share price by 66 Kobo to sell at N7.34 per unit versus N6.68 per unit, and Geo-Fluids Plc went up by 4 Kobo to N4.05 per share from last Friday’s price of N4.01 per share.

The NASD bourse recorded a price loser and it was First Trust Mortgage Bank Plc, which gave up 6 Kobo to quote at 54 Kobo per unit, in contrast to the previous trading day’s price of 60 Kobo per unit.

During the session, the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) was up by 24.12 points to 3,472.90 points from the preceding session’s 3,448.78 points, and the market capitalisation improved by N14.91 billion to N2.077 trillion from N2.063 trillion.

Yesterday, the volume of securities traded by investors decreased by 79.3 per cent to 2.1 million units from the previous 10.3 million units, the value of securities went down by 96.3 per cent to N4.05 million from N109.5 million, and the number of deals decreased by 27.3 per cent to eight deals from 28 deals.

Okitipupa Plc was the most traded stock by value on a year-to-date basis with 160.2 million units transacted for N6.2 billion, followed by Air Liquide Plc with 507.3 million units worth N4.2 billion, and FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc with 45.3 million units valued at N2.0 billion.

Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc was the most traded stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with 1.2 billion units worth N418.6 million, trailed by Impresit Bakolori Plc with 536.9 million units for N524.8 million, and Air Liquide Plc with 507.3 million units valued at N4.2 billion.
