Katie Price has announced her ninth engagement, just a week after reports emerged that she split from former reality show star and businessman JJ Slater.
The former glamour model, 47, shared photos on Instagram showing a large diamond ring and a romantic proposal in Dubai, with rose petals spelling out: “Will you marry me Katie?” ...s also featured champagne, a cake, and a luxury hotel setting.
Social media clues suggest her new fiancé is entrepreneur Lee Andrews. In later stories, Katie showed what appeared to be Lee’s hand—tattooed with “Katie 11.11”—alongside a selfie the pair shared with a wedding ring emoji. She also likened her new fiancé to Richard Gere, adding: “Manifesting does work.”
The engagement follows claims that Katie and JJ, 32, ended their relationship after nearly two years, with sources saying she had been pushing for marriage and security. Insiders allege JJ has since moved back to Essex, United Kingdom.
Katie has previously been engaged eight times and married three times, to Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler. She shares children Junior and Princess with Andre, Jett and Bunny with Hayler, and her eldest son Harvey with Dwight Yorke.
The surprise announcement comes amid Katie’s recent health concerns, which she has discussed publicly, saying she plans to undergo medical checks after struggling to gain weight.
