Mohamed Salah Reveals He Prefers Winning EPL Over UCL This Season

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has expressed his strong desire to prioritize winning the Premier League title over the UEFA Champions League this season.

Mohamed Salah, who has previously enjoyed remarkable success by clinching both the Premier League and Champions League trophies, emphasized the importance of domestic glory this year.

At 32 years old, Salah has been a pivotal player for Liverpool under the management of Arne Slot, showcasing his exceptional skills on the pitch.

So far this season, he has made a significant impact, netting an impressive 17 goals in the Premier League while also contributing 13 assists, highlighting his ability to both score and create opportunities for his teammates.

As it stands, Liverpool are performing exceptionally well, currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table with 45 points from 18 games.

In a recent interview with TNT Sports, Mohamed Salah stated, “I want to win the Premier League title more than the Champions League this year. I really want it; as a team, we want it.”

In addition to his commitments in the league, Mohamed Salah has also made headlines recently for his choices in the footballing world. The forward confirmed that he cast his vote for Vinicius Jr. in the 2024 Ballon d’Or voting process, despite not being named among the 30 nominees himself. Salah holds Vinicius in high regard, labeling him as “the best player in the world.”

In an interview with TNT Sports, Salah elaborated on his vote, stating, “Vinicius Jr. is a very good player, that’s why. He’s improving every year, and hopefully, he can continue… I voted for him because he deserves it.”

However, despite Salah’s endorsement, his vote fell short in influence, as it was announced that Manchester City’s Rodri secured the Ballon d’Or award in October ahead of the Brazilian.
