WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Mr Joseph Aloba, the father of late Afropop musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, has queried the decision of his late son to buy two plots of land in the name of his grandson, Liam. Mohbad’s father voiced his disgust during a live TikTok session, claiming that his son shouldn’t have made such a choice for Liam because he never purchased anything in Mohbad’s name. He said; “When he came back from tour, Mohbad told me he had bought two plots of land at Elepe in Liam’s name and I don’t know why. As a father, I never bought anything and put Mohbad’s name on it in my life, so why will he buy something in Liam’s name but they bought that two plots of land in Liam’s name.” “I’ve never set my eyes on the nurse for my life. If I see nurse, it may be inside the internet. I and Nurse never had a conversation in my life. It was Wunmi’s mother that knew where Mohbad’s properties are. She is a police officer. I’m just a carpenter.” In a statement, Mr. Aloba disclosed that he is demanding the summons due to the recent world press conference organised by Yoruba actor Mr. Yomi Fabiyi regarding the alleged video that Adura reportedly sent to him—suspected to be linked to Mohbad’s tragic demise in his home years ago. According to him, Adura and Omawunmi were in the house when Mohbad passed away, yet they have both refused to speak, likely due to the influence of people whose motives, in this case, remain unclear to him and the whole world. Mr. Aloba expressed concerns about Adura’s silence, stating that he had refused to speak about the events leading to Mohbad’s de@th despite efforts made to reach out to him.
