Nollywood actress Mosun Filani has shut down reports of being in her 50s.

The Yoruba actress already posted a Facebook post on her Instagram page, in which she was tagged along with her colleagues in their 50s.

Reacting to ..., Mosun made it known that she isn’t in her 50s, noting how Facebook is operating on another level.

“I AM NOT 50 YRS OOOOOO…. EDAKUN E MAMA TUN GBAMI KE.
Facebook is operating on another level that I don’t understand”.

Mosun Filani shuts down Facebook reports of being in her 50s

Over the years, many celebrities have fallen victim to false reports on social media.

Yoruba actress Wumi Toriola had addressed rumours of her welcoming another child on TikTok. Making humour out of it, Wumi congratulated herself on the good news as she noted how no win was small.

Similarly, Omoni Oboli had reacted to an alleged report of her best friend and colleague, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, welcoming a baby boy. Omoni joined them in congratulating Chioma as she sarcastically claimed that she had been on the phone with her for over 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Eve Esin had reacted to viral Facebook news claiming she had welcomed a child after 12 years of marriage. Debunking the news, Eve made it known that she wasn’t married, talked more about being married for 12 years, and didn’t have a child.

Veteran actress Rita Edochie had reacted to death news about her colleague, Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw. Rita noted how the constant death news about actors was getting out of control as she pointed out how social media has done more harm than good to society. Calling such behavior madness, Rita stated that one doesn’t need to grow pages through death wishes on innocent people.

A year back, it was alleged on Facebook that Yoruba actress Ronke Odusanya had acquired a multi-million naira mansion. The actress debunked the news by stating that she hadn’t bought any house.

To top it off, billionaire businessman, E-Money had been accused on Facebook of having an affair with late actor, Junior Pope’s wife, and having a hand in his death. Reacting to it, E-money had arrested those behind the false information.
