The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will become the fastest charging clamshell foldable, it has been confirmed. This confirmation comes from the phone’s 3C certification in China, as its charging speed was mentioned.

The device will support 68W fast wired charging, and the device is rumored to include a 4,000mAh battery. Needless to say, 68W charging should be able to recharge that battery very quickly.

The upcoming Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to offer similar fast charging speeds. Still, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to have faster charging, on paper, with 68W vs 67W. The difference is negligible, but… it’s there.

Both of those phones are expected to land in the near future, actually. We still don’t know their launch dates, however. The Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra are also expected to launch globally, while we’re still not sure about the Xiaomi MIX Flip.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is said to fuel the device

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will likely be fueled by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Some previous rumors mentioned the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but based on what we’ve heard about the phone recently, the ‘s’ variant is the more likely choice.

The phone is also expected to include a 6.9-inch main, foldable pOLED display, and a 4-inch cover panel. The rest of the phone’s specs should also be quite compelling. Two cameras are expected to be included, in addition to the one in the main display.

The phone actually surfaced in live images not long ago, and its sibling also appeared in a ton of pictures, just in case you’re wondering what the two devices will look like. Motorola is expected to announce the Razr 50 series launch date in the near future. The Razr 40 arrived in early June, so… the timing fits.
