Movie producer cum actor, Stanley Ajemba, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, has broken his silence after regaining his freedom.
Naijaonpoint reports that Stanley, was arrested and detained by the Delta State Police Command on Tuesday, over an alleged defamation case following a petition filed by Nollywood actress, Queeneth Hilbeth.
Stanley’s arrest quickly stirred reactions online after his associate, activist Mama Pee, raised the alarm on Instagram, accusing Queeneth of using the police to intimidate and silence people.
Upon his release, Stanley shared a video via his Instagram page, announcing that he is not backing down as the struggle continues.
In other news, Stanley Ontop recently claimed that his colleague, Rita Daniels, would have won the just concluded Guild of Nigeria (AGN) national election held in Edo State on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
Naijaonpoint reports that Rita, the mother of Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, lost the Guild presidential election to the National Secretary, actor Abubakar Yakubu.
Reacting to the outcome of the election, Stanley, in a post via his Instagram page, stated that “the AGN presidential election outcome is questionable.”
Expressing disappointment, the filmmaker stated that the election was hijacked by those in power in Abuja.
He said, “It appears the process was unfair, particularly with regards to Hon Rita Daniels’ candidacy. The alleged influence of a powerful individual in Abuja is concerning.”
