Application for MTN Foundation ICT & Business Skills Training 2025 for 6,000 Young Nigerians is currently ongoing.
Naijaonpoint Media reports that the MTN Foundation has opened applications for the seventh phase of its ICT and Business Skills Training, a flagship youth development initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with technology-driven skills to keep their businesses relevant and competitive.
The programme is targeted at entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners aged 18 to 35. Participants will undergo a five-week blended learning experience that combines self-paced online modules with instructor-led sessions, capped by industry-led Masterclasses. To support seamless learning, MTN will also provide participants with free data.
A major highlight of the programme is the ₦300 million Equipment Grant, which will be awarded to the top 600 participants after the training, helping them expand and sustain their businesses.
Since 2018, the MTN ICT and Business Skills Training has been delivered in collaboration with leading partners, including Google, Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Meta, and Microsoft. Over six phases, the initiative has successfully trained 9,382 young entrepreneurs across 22 states, empowering them with practical tools to grow their enterprises.
In this 7th phase, MTN aims to train 6,000 micro-business owners across Nigeria, reinforcing its commitment to entrepreneurship, innovation, and youth empowerment.
