“My baby is here” – Congratulatory messages pour in as Chika Ike welcomes a baby girl

Nollywood actress Chika Ike has finally welcomed her child, a baby girl.

Kemi Filani reported that the talented actress and entrepreneur announced her pregnancy in February via her Instagram page. She shared photos from her maternity shoot with the caption, Life Lately.

Now, taking to her Instagram page, Chika announced the birth of her child, a baby girl.

The movie star shared photos of her and the newborn in the hospital as he described her newborn as her sunshine.

“My baby is here. Welcome to the world my sunshine”.

Many of her colleagues flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages.

Following the news of her pregnancy, news made rounds that Ned Nwoko, the husband of Regina Daniels, is the father of the child and was planning to make Chika his seventh wife.

Reacting to the rumors, in a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Chika debunked the reports as she made it known that Ned isn’t the father of her child and she wasn’t about to be his 7th wife. She further made it known that polygamy isn’t for her as she noted how she has been pregnant for months now and no one had a clue about her pregnancy, yet they think they know who her child’s father is.

Ned Nwoko, also issued a press statement, to discredit the rumors. The billionaire polygamist urged everyone to disregard his affair with Chika Ike, as he emphatically denied fathering her child.

Recall that Chika Ike was once married to Tony Eberiri. But their marriage hit the rocks in 2013, over alleged of grounds of infidelity, domestic violence and more.

In 2022, Chika Ike was called out for being in an entangled romantic relationship with Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the former wife of Enugu Governor Clara Chime. Journalist Jackson Ude alleged that the governor bought a new car for Chika. He revealed that the governor had been in a relationship with the actress and the wife of former Enugu state governor.
