My favourite thing about Christmas – Bimbo Ademoye

In the spirit of Christmas, Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye recently shared her favourite aspect of the holiday season.

Along with her reflections, she also offered heartfelt prayers for her father, highlighting the significant role he plays in her life, a sentiment she has consistently expressed publicly.
Sharing a photo of herself with her father on Instagram, Bimbo described him as her safe place.
She recalled his reassuring words: “No matter what happens outside, know that you can always come home.”
She mentioned that she recently featured these words in a movie, and they profoundly resonated with her.
Bimbo explained that there is a fundamental difference between a home and a house. Her favorite part of December is returning to her father and spending Christmas with him. She emphasized that having all her siblings come home for the holidays is the cherry on top.
Seizing the moment, she prayed for her father, asking God to keep him safe as he grew older, acknowledging that there was much she still wanted to accomplish for him.
She wrote, “My safe place. My dad would always say, ‘No matter what happens outside, know that you can always come home.’ I used those words in a movie recently, and for some reason, they hit differently. There is a significant difference between a home and a house. My favorite thing about December is going home to my daddy and spending Christmas with him. Having all my siblings come home as well is the icing on the cake. Dear God, please keep my daddy safe as he’s old and gray. There’s so much I still want to do for him. Who else is excited about going home this Christmas?”
Bimbo has never been shy to express her love and admiration for her father. In June, during his birthday celebration, she shared heartfelt tributes, praising his influence on her life—morally, professionally, and emotionally.

She noted that her father had set a standard that she was unsure her future husband could match.
