My husband sleeping with our two daughters, woman cries out

A woman has reportedly cried out after learning that her husband, one Best Orji (39), has been allegedly engaging in illicit sexual relationship with their daughters for almost a year now.

Following the shock discovery, the woman went to a police station in Surulere area of Lagos to report the horrifying details of how she found out about her husband’s alleged romance with their daughters, aged 14 and 12.

The woman said she often left her female children in the custody of her husband anytime she would be going to the market.

The mother narrated to the operatives at Surulere police station how she discovered the shocking truth on returning early from the market that day only to find her husband engaging in a sexual encounter with their 14-year-old daughter in their bedroom.

According to the woman, she confronted her daughter, demanding the truth only to discover that her husband had also been engaging their 12-year-old daughter in sexual intercourse for close to a year.

“I got pregnant at 17 and I went to live with him. I gave birth to my now 14-year-old daughter. My parents decided to let us live together,” the grieving mother told the police.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest of Best Orji, saying that the man had been charged to court.

Hundeyin said that it is a case of defilement which was reported on April 30, 2025 in which the complainant reported on behalf of her two daughters aged 14 and 12, against her husband, one Best Orji ‘m’ aged 39.

“The complainant alleged that her husband defiled their two daughters at Surulere area, hence her report which led to the arrest of the suspect.

“Upon his arrest, a medical report was obtained from a Sexual Assault Referral Center (SARC).

The suspect was subsequently arraigned on May 9, 2025 for defilement under Section 137 of Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015,” he added.
